Always a Rainbow on the Other Side

Here in the Prairie States, we are prone to some really rough thunderstorms. The storms bring lots of rain, hail, wind, massive thunder claps and lightening. For someone who is not used to such violent storms, it can be pretty scary. I love thunderstorms because they are always followed by a calm, coolness and a fresh, clean scent. And, if we are lucky, a beautiful rainbow.

Its the same way with life, isn't it? The worst storms will end eventually, and what we are left with is a clean slate and a bit of hope (the rainbow). I've weathered many storms in my own life and thought, in the moment, that I would never make it through. My advice is to hang on, no matter what is being thrown about you, because it will pass. You will come through and have a fresh place to start from.

For today, I hope that whatever storm is in your life, that it will quickly pass and that you will soon see the rainbow of hope you need. In the mean time, you can borrow one of mine.

Why are there so many songs about rainbows
